Wish of Good Matching - New Year Visit of Kibune Shrine, Kyoto [Outing]
Happy New Year! Now, I have asked an arranged marriage in spare moments from my work since June, 2010. However, it is very hard for me to get it. While I was trying to stabilize my position and to make my work life satisfactory, I exerted efforts to get it. However, it seems I have not been blessed with lucks and a marriage tie.
Hearing someone's advices, I visited a fortune-teller, being given the invocation in the Japanese shrine, commemorated my ancestors in the temple and made the matchmaker plural with uphill struggle. It takes some thinking to arrange the marriage. Of course, in this back ground, it contains efforts to make my bad habits or character better.
Unfortunately, I am now establishing a pivot foot of my everyday life on the daily working, so that it is rare chance to become romantically with someone. Therefore, the life style is like this. In fact, the older my age, the smaller to get the chance. Every matching time is without a net. New Year's Day is the key of the year. Recently I am trying to know the rope from successful pattern. Well, that's all. Today, January 1st, I went to go new year visit to Kibune Shrine, which is famous for the god of marriage.
＜良縁祈願 - 貴船神社へ初詣, 京都＞

"Kibune" is in the deep mountains. The snow is falling thick and fast around the headstream of Kamo River. Here is the mountain-ringed region. Kibune enshrines the god of water provision.
From on New Year's Eve to this morning, January 1st, it was much snow fall in the northern part of Kyoto Prefecture. In the summer season, much people can enjoy the Japanese cuisine on the floor standing on the stream, to enjoy the cool. However, it was very quiet on New Year’s Day.

It takes 30 minutes from Demachi Yanagi, getting on the Eizan Electric Railway. Through the tunnel of snow scene, I got off the train at the station of "Kibune Guchi". It takes 15 minutes to go to the shrine by bus.

From on New Year's Eve to this morning, January 1st, the snow fell trees and power frailer had happened till this morning. The picture is Kibune Shrine. Most of all visitors were a young person, as it is known for the god of marriage.
A legend says that a female poet of Japanese royal dynasty in the medieval period, Izumi Shikibu, succeeded to restore the marital relationship. The shinto-shrine is deeply believed as the god of marriage by the people.

There were less invocation givings today. When I was asked, 3 pair of persons were prayed. I am from Nata Prf. another is from Akita Prf., the other is from Saitama Prf. This time is 3rd pray for me in the past half year. Also here are the third places to pray the marriage tie for me.

On my way from here, I've got a paper to describe the wish instead of a votive picture of a horse. The wish is very simple, concise and clear. However, as for contents, it contains a great feeling of review of past meeting, so that it might be dapper wishes than before. Then I went to the warm coffee shop where I can enjoy seeing snow scene.
Taking a nice coffee, I wrote wishes earnestly, and tied it to the specified place. Frankly speaking, wishes are "Stabilization and enrichment of working" and "Happy Marriage". The proverb says "I vow to wade through all changes of fortune". My first visit was the earnest writing without a net. Have a good year, everybody! I make a wish of happy year, everybody, from my bottom of heart. (I look to you for guidance. Thank you in advance.)
[How to Get There]
Get off "Demachi Yanagi" on Keihan Railway, and get on Eizan Electric Railway for 30 minutes, and then get off the station of "Kibune Guchi". It takes 15 minutes from there by bus.

「貴船」は深い山の中にあります。しんしんと雪の積っている鴨川の源流。山間部にあります。水の供給をつかさどる神様が祭られています。
大晦日から元日まで、京都北部は大雪。夏は川床料理で、涼しめる場所として混雑しますが、元日の今日は静かでした。

京阪の「出町柳」から、30分ぐらい。叡山電車に揺られて雪景色のなか、貴船口に到着。ここから、バスで15分ぐらいのところにあります。

大晦日から元日深夜にかけ、雪で倒木があり、朝方まで停電していたとか。こちらが貴船神社です。縁結びの場所だけあって若い人がほとんど。中世の王朝歌人、和泉式部が復縁祈願をして成就したとか。縁結びの神様として篤い信仰を受けています。

今日は、祈祷は少なかったようです。私のときは、3組。私は奈良からですが、ほかの方は秋田と埼玉の方でした。良縁祈願もこの半年で3か所目、回数としては3回目。

帰りに、絵馬の代わりに、願い事を書く用紙をいただきました。簡単、簡潔、明瞭ですが、内容はその都度反省も込めて書いているので、シビアな内容になってきています。雪景色が眺められる、温かい喫茶店に入りました。ブレンドコーヒーを飲みながら、真剣に一筆。
そして指定場所に結びつけてきました。言ってしまえば、「仕事の安定と充実」、「良縁結実」ですが。臥薪嘗胆。一球入魂の初詣です。皆様もどうかよい年でありますように。心からお祈り申し上げます。（本年度もどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。）

京都へ行ったとき、山深い木立がうっそうとした貴船神社も行きました。
縁結びの神様とは、知らなかったです。Hide-sanがいらしたとき、京都は
雪だったんですね。思い出深い初詣になるでしょうね。
